Dana White saved his daughter from English Bullmastiff attack during UFC 192 main event between Dani

Dana White once heroically saved his daughter from attacked by an English Bull-Mastiff while Alexander Gustafsson and Daniel Cormier were in action at UFC 192.

The UFC president, who is one of the most influential figures in the fight game, showed in 2015 that family comes first in his life.

However, he was forced to go above and beyond back in 2015 when he received an hysterical phone call from his wife.

White, who was watching Cormier and Gustafsson battle for the light-heavyweight title at UFC 192, was told that the family pet had jumped on his nine-year-old daughter and bit her ear off after she refused to give up an ice cream cone.

Recalling the story on the Joe Rogan Experience, the 51-year-old revealed how he arranged for a UFC doctor to help him sew the ear back on and he even arranged for a specialist to perform the operation.

However, White insisted he wanted a top plastic surgeon to perform the routine as he knew they would be able to do a more aesthetically pleasing job than the UFC doctors.

Thankfully, the surgeon who was hand-picked was able to reattach the ear with consummate ease and performed the cosmetic procedure to a flawless standard.

Although it now looks as good as new, the dog unfortunately had to be put down as a result of the incident.

The 51-year-old is currently in Abu Dhabi for the UFC’s return to Fight Island which is gearing up for Conor McGregor v Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
